Please describe the business you own.

Panhandle CPR is a locally owned and family operated business located in the Florida Panhandle. We specialize in CPR training, lab testing services, and in-office and mobile blood draws. What sets us apart is our deep commitment to serving the community with compassion, driven by our unique experience as parents to eight children.

We value supporting local businesses and building strong relationships with our clients, whether it's a quick 10-minute blood draw or a comprehensive CPR class. Our mission is to make our community a safer, healthier place by providing expert services with the same care we give our own family.

What do you enjoy most about the work you do?

The personal connection we build with our clients is incredibly rewarding. Knowing that we are trusted to care for them with the same compassion we bring to raising our eight special needs children makes the work feel even more special.

What brought you to My Space Downtown?

Honestly, it’s the people. The owners and management are incredible—so friendly and welcoming. Our clients love coming in and always compliment how amazing the space is, from the atmosphere to the amenities. I even have a little fun with my customers, joking about our competition, saying, "Do they have a coffee bar? Because we do!" It’s those small touches and the positive energy of the people here that make it such a great place to work.

What is your go-to tip for being the most productive at My Space?

Take full advantage of the environment. The relaxed, yet professional atmosphere is great for focus, so I always set myself up in a spot where I can enjoy the energy of the place but minimize distractions. Having quick access to amenities like the coffee bar keeps me energized throughout the day.

What are you hoping to accomplish or try this year?

This year, my focus is on growing Panhandle CPR by expanding our drug testing, mobile phlebotomy, and CPR training services, while deepening community ties. I’m aiming to increase visibility through partnerships and local engagement.

What’s your favorite part about living in Panama City? Any favorite local businesses?

I like the strong sense of community and the beautiful coastal environment. It’s a place where people genuinely support one another, and I love being a part of that. Plus, the access to the beach and outdoor activities is unbeatable.

As for local businesses, I have a lot of favorites! I really enjoy supporting small, family owned places.

If you could add one thing to My Space, what would it be?

I’d like to see more community events to attract more people. Regular networking events, workshops, or social gatherings would not only enhance the sense of community but also encourage collaboration and interaction among members.
